Dot to Dot

This is a trend that we all have childhood memories of and guess what......just like most trends this season its coming back with a MAY-JOR BANG thanks to fashion designers like Marc Jacobs for his polka dot print collection at New York Fashion Week !!!
I appreciate the Polka Dot trend now only because its my choice to wear it since my mother did my shopping back then  and because its more grown, sophisticated, fun and elegant this time around...you won't go looking like Minnie Mouse running around Disney.

A fewDotty Pointers:
  • Try this trend in all colours and sizes especially the the huge print for a more fashionable look.
  • Keep your accessories very simple from neural shoes to plain jewelry or one statement piece.
  • When mixing two patterns make sure one is smaller than the other
  • To avoid attracting too much attention keep within the parameters of muted colours such as black white or caramel

Cheryl Cole in a Sonia Rykiel dotty mini

Gwen Stefani in a L.A.M.B maxi dress
Olivia Palermo in a blue and white bubble dress
Do not be afraid of the dotty print and let your playfull side shine through with the Polka Dot trend

Happy Friday

Latest "IT Bag" ----> The Celine " Boston " Bag

Hey Fashion Lovers (",)

Meet my new bag crush...the Celine structured leather Boston bag.  I have been coveting this bag for awhile now which is designed by Phoebe Philo who is famous for the  "the Paddington"  Chloe bag * the one with the big lock* remember that?
The Boston Bag is the lastest " IT "  bag and just like all "IT" bags it costs a fortune...pricing at $ 1 450 - $ 2 800 and with the longest waiting list ever after Hermes of cause. The thing i love most about is that its big enough to throw anything in from your Macbook to a pair of flats and it will still keep its shape..how MAY-JAH???
It comes in different sizes, patterns and colours...see for yourself

I think im becoming obsessed with the "Boston" Bag and im crossing fingers someone out there will get it for me since im putting it on my #ChristmasWishList.

#ParisFashionWeek - Elie Saab Spring/Summer 2012

Hello World...

This has got to be one of my favourite collections to come out of Paris Fashion Week. The Elie Saab Spring/Summer 2012 Ready-To-Wear collection, I luuuuuuurv it!!!! I have always been a big fan of his work but after this he is on my top 3 list of fav designers. In my eyes he is the king of red carpet elegance.

Although he is know for his couture gowns, in this collection he switched it up with tailored suits, gold buckled belts, knee high skirts and chiffon blouses which is not his usual style. Thats why I am soooo blown away. But what took my breath away the most was his use of colour *Lawwwd have mercy* from dusky orange to bright green, mustard yellow to romantic purple, dark blue to gentle cream... aaaaaaahhhhh!!!!.... Ok let me let YOU see it your self and you be the judge.

*Drum roll please...*

**The End**

Bravo sir!!!! Bravo!!!!!!!! Scratch what i said... I now announce that THIS IS MY FAV DESIGNER OF ALL TIME!!!! *Drops mic*

Thank You
